In the end
All was good.
I won one versus Iron warriors, I lost one versus Iron Warriors, I lost on versus Nids (damn you AB!), I drawed one versus Necrons (because of an ubersilly last move of his destroyers and an ubersilly amount of attacks on two necron warriors.
In the end we tried a 3000 pts vs 3000 pts battle (IG, me and DA vs Nidz and Necrons)
we were just about to enter the 4th turn (three hours well into the game) when we called it a day. Man we gotta do that again! (I'll get some pics up asap)
goodday! I have one fre day left and I intend on using it to finish the first sniper modelling-wise and get ready for school and the upcoming stress........ hmm still have to write the piece of cabaret, make arrangements for a trip to Enchede (twice) and get all of those tests in order..... eek

I forgot I also played one friggin hell of a fun game with Rico involving a lone AotL Veteran sergeant against 8 scouts holding out 4 turns :S . He won in the end, but I got his dread!
Heh, you managed to win against the Iron Warriors, yay!!! Bloody Iron Warriors >.< Not surprised everyone lost to Arjan, cos it always seems to happen lol. Surprised you only managed to DRAW against the Necrons...
Heh, giant 3000 pt games take TIME.. Trust me!! You almost have to set aside a single DAY for those things.. Although Turn 4 by 3 hrs into it aint bad at all.
Heh, praise be to the AotL Vet Sgt!!! Heh, sounds like Rico had some good memories to come home with from that match!

Dman nids.. nearly unbeatable, unless objectives are at stake.
Anyway, what'd ya mean ONLY dreaw against Necrons. His list was a lord with veil and Orb, 20 warriors, three Heavy Destroyers and FIVE destroyers..

I would have had him if it wasn't for the shabby list I was draggin around. I switched to a CC list after being eaten by Arjan's nids. I should've kept to the old one with the two plasma cannons.
Plasma cannons likes Necrons....
AT right for enschede give me a date and I'll do the rest:P just say how many and when=P

The fact you took a HtH list versus the Necrons scares me..... Why you didnt stick with Plasma versus the Necrons, I dont know :P
And that isnt that cheesy a list.. Cheesy be a C'tan in there somewhere... The only annoying thing, everything (cept the Lord I think) would have counted towards phase out... So that would have been a tough one.
And yeah. play objectives next time and see how well the Nids go :P They'll be like... wtf is an objective... Something along the lines of this:
Brood Member 1: Hissssssssssss.... Synapse masterrrr wants ussss to goooo thereeee and stay thereeeee
Brood Member 2: Hissss.... whats an objectiveveveveveveeeee
Brood Member 1: I dont knowwwssssss... Ask the Tyrantantantantant...
Tyrant: Hisssss.... I dont know what an objective is eitherererererer... Why cant we just eat the meat!?!?!!

For your information : my battle against the IG was a Take & Hold!
So what I did was eat the IG, destroy some tanks and move on the objective. I took and held the objective. There were some warriors who were close by. The rest was busy eating and found out later that there was an objective.
It went like this:
Tyrant: go forth and consume, but don't forget the big egg, it's supposed to be important. If ourselves consume the food fast enough we can easily save the egg.
Warriors/gaunts/stealers/raveners:
oh yeah whatever: EAT MUNCH REND KILL DESTROY
ooooh egg.
Ahhh, then that makes sense then!!

Heh, erwin's blog ALWAYS hits chatroom status....
Im guessing if you want to beat the Necrons, just make sure you match them weapon for weapon, just becareful with the vehicles. You know you'll need them, but at the same time, you know Necrons arent exactly weak against armor.
